We are excited to announce our amazing new TX6 speaker range. These are available now. They utilise TX8 features, they sound nearly as good as the TX8 at the price that blows our competition out of the water.
As usual, we took our time... It was a difficult and a very perilous task as the sound quality and the features of the T6000 were still up to date. But as we are MTX, we can only offer better performances at the same price...
As already mentioned, we used all the best TX8 features : aluminium frame, giant magnet, up to 35mm extra large TSV TIL voice coils (the best...), 28mm silk dome neodymium tweeter, aluminium phase plug, polypropylene caps, air coils... TX4 treated paper cone technology has been retained with this new line due to the lightweight high rigidity and colour-free sound.
The result is an extraordinary line of exceptional sound quality, powerful and full featured speakers!
Here are in details:
- New highly rigid aluminium MTX styled frames with oversized voice-coil ventilation.
- New enlarged motor structure with oversized magnet up to Ø110mm for incredible power handling
- New top level TSV TIL voice coil for high-end sound quality and great control
- New extra large 30 to 35mm voice coils diameter for real world power handling (25mm on the 4")
- TX4 treated paper cone with silver micro particles reducing cone break-up
- New extraordinary 28mm silk dome neodymium tweeter that sounds better than any other competitor tweeter
- Aluminium phase plug to reduce standing waves and to improve the midrange performance and directionality.
- Top level passive x-overs with selected polypropylene caps and air coils for a perfect and soft speakers coupling
